It was for the very first time in the history of Sulu Provincial Athletic Association Meet where Mohammad Tulawie Central School, the always-title-holder champion in tennis girls was defeated last November 11, 2017. Tennis Girls championship title for SPAAM 2017 represented by golden trophy was issued by the Sulu Provincial Governor Representative and assisted by the DepED-Sulu Division PESS (Physical Education and School Sports) Coordinator, Mr. Alnasir I. The principal agreed with the advice of PSDS. She organized the tennis events with the supports of her teachers and school sports coordinator. Finally, Indanan South District received two trophies in SPAAM 2015 and one of it was honored to tennis event. The district, through the tennis athletes of Kasambuhan Village Elementary School continued obtaining trophy from SPAAM until 2016.

Khadijia I. Alpha; 2. Fatty Maye I. Haiber; 3. Duresa H. Abdusaid; and 4. Czariza Gwen N Jadjuli.

The teachers of Kasambuhan Village Elementary School are so concerned with the physical education and school sports of their learners. Their interest are evident in their children especially those teachers having sons or daughters officially enrolled in Kasambuhan Village Elementary School. For instance, Duresa H. Abdusaid is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Karna H. Abdusaid, Teacher I assigned in said school. Czariza Gwen N. Jadjuli is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Marlene N. Jadjuli who is also Teacher I of Kasambuhan Village Elementary School. Both teachers’ daughters are members of the Top 5 in the prospective graduating class. The face-to-face interview was conducted to these two winners.

Duresa H. Abdusaid, 11 years of age replied that she would aim to pursue her studies so that would become more successful in life. Her dream is to take up accountancy in the near future.

Czariza Gwen N. Jadjuli answered that she would like to follow her Mom’s footstep . . . teacher. She wanted to help young innocent souls in reading, writing and counting numbers correctly. Her father is also a volunteer teacher in Kasambuhan Village Elementary School. He is Mr. Ibnohajar M. Jadjuli.

Both tennis girls’ players are now excited for their journey to ARMMAA (Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Association Meet) 2018 that will be conducted at Upi, Maguindanao from February 10-17, 2018. They are expected to be with the same coach, Mrs. Karna H. Abdusaid to represent DepED-Sulu Delegation in tennis girls to said ARMMAA. They are not just hoping for another title in ARMMAA; rather; they wish they could step on the soil of Palarong Pambansa 2018.

Supersam, PSDS of Indanan South District announced in Timbangan Elementary School Gym last December 21, 2018 during his closing remarks for the 4-Day District Enhancement Seminar Workshop Clinic and Accreditation for Coaching and Officiating that he had already conducted meeting with all school administrators for the implementation of the program, ‘Barya para sa Atletang ARMMAA’. The program should be initiated by every SPG (Supreme Pupil Government) of the schools in support to the participation of tennis girls’ players in the upcoming ARMMAA 2018.

Good luck, girls! Let your sweats out in this coming regional meet competition. Exert more efforts, physical strength and widen your perspective and knowledge in the field of sports. We are very much proud of both of you and wishing for your success. Congrats!
